Police: Teen stole video games in burglary

A teenager is in the Henry County Jail on $22,500 bond, charged with stealing video games and equipment from a McDonough home.

Armon Deshaud Sessoms, 17, is charged with burglary. The alleged incident took place March 5, at a Tellico Square address, according to a warrant for Sessoms' arrest.

"[Sessoms] did enter the residence ... and did take one X-Box 360 along with two games," the warrant states.

Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton said Officer Marc Rommelman was called to the scene March 9, after the victim discovered information linking Sessoms to the crime.

"Some of the stolen items were recovered from Sessoms' home," Bolton said.

The victim lives in the same neighborhood as Sessoms, but does not appear to have known the suspect prior to the burglary, according to Bolton.

Sessoms was arrested Wednesday, and later appeared in Magistrate Court, represented by the Public Defender's Office. Judge Robert Godwin bound the burglary charge over to Superior Court.
