Mrs. Betty Moore Lowe, 76, of Hampton, Ga., passed away Dec.15, 2011. She was born in Anderson, S.C., to the late Elias Homer and Lizzie Mae Loftis Moore. She was preceded in death by five siblings and a grandson, Nicholas Kirkland.
Betty enjoyed time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Billie Lowe, of Hampton; children, Barbara (Tim) Kirkland, of McDonough, and David Lowe, of Hapeville; daughter-in-law, Tracy Lowe, of Hampton; grandchildren, Lauren, Eric and Adam Lowe, Jenna and Mallorie Kirkland; great-grandson, Bentley Lowe; sister-in-law, Virginia Moore, of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Rev. Michelle Rawdin will officiate. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Friends may visit the family Saturday, from 5 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to Sacred Journey Hospice in memory of Betty.
