Felix is a cute little guy with big floppy ears. He may be a feist mix, which makes him excited to go outside, but happy to cuddle when he’s near people. To see Felix, ask for 9-6/3424 (G56) at the Henry County Animal Shelter, at 527 Ga. Highway 20/81, McDonough. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m., to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m., to 12 p.m. Call (770) 288-7387 (PETS). Tip of the tail: The Henry County Animal Control Shelter is hosting a rabies clinic Saturday from 8:30 a.m., to 12 p.m. The cost for rabies shots is $10 for dogs or cats. Only cash will be accepted.
“Tail” of success: Darcy, the pot-bellied brindle puppy from a few weeks ago, was transported to Canada, where she is sure to be adopted quickly.
