Jonathan Jean-Bart, Henry County: The senior running back had a breakout game in the Warhawks’ 23-14 loss to ELCA. A Georgia State commitment, he had 126 yards rushing on 16 carries, with his longest run being 68 yards.
Holden Keith, Luella: The senior linebacker had 16 tackles, including one tackle for a loss in the Lions win over Eagle’s Landing to improve to 3-0 on the season. He also had three quarterback hurries and a pass break up and a forced fumble.
Eddie McGill, Woodland: The linebacker spearheaded a strong defensive effort in the Wolfpack’s loss to Starr’s Mill with 14 tackles.
Chris Moody, Henry County: The senior dual-threat quarterback was 17 of 26 for 165 yards passing in the Warhawks loss at ELCA.
Jay Murray, Drew: The junior quarterback led the Titans to a win over Episcopal High of Florida by accounting for four touchdowns. He was 10 of 17 for 254 yards with a pair of touchdowns and rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.
Cedric Nettles, Jonesboro: The senior quarterback had six carries for 123 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown run. He was 7 of 12 passing for 159 yards and two touchdowns.
Rodney Singleton, Jonesboro: The senior running back and strong safety had an all-around solid performance in the Cardinals’ win over rival Mount Zion. He rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. He also had seven tackles and a sack on defense.
Gabrien Smith, Luella: The junior running back had 18 carries for 118 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ 27-14 win over Eagle’s Landing.
n Cameron Sutton, Jonesboro: A junior wide receiver, had had two receptions for 66 yards, with both going for touchdowns. He also scored on the opening kickoff in the Cardinals 39-0 win over Mount Zion.
John Tatum, ELCA: The high-recruited senior running back helped lead the Chargers to a 23-14 win over Henry County with 183 yards rushing and a touchdown on 12 carries.
Ray Tookes, Woodland: The senior running back had 77 yards on 15 carries in the Wolfpack’s 9-7 loss at Starr’s Mill.
Dalvin Tomlinson, Henry County: One of the top recruited defensive players in the state, the defensive end had 12 tackles, including seven solo.
