McDONOUGH — The complete, and official results of the Republican and Democratic primaries on July 31, are in for three Public Service Commission contests, and one for the U.S. House of Representatives for the 10th Congressional District.
In Henry County, in one PSC post, incumbent Chuck Eaton tallied 10,060 votes to 9,242 for Matt Reid in the Republican Primary. He will face Stephen Oppenheimer, a Democrat, in November.
Stan Wise, also a Republican incumbent, garnered 9,893 votes to outpoll Pam Davidson (9,184) in another PSC race.
Incumbent Rep. Lynn Westmoreland vastly outpaced his two challengers in the U.S. 10th Congressional District. In Henry County, he tallied 3,815 votes to 1,031 for Chip Flanegan, and 493 for Kent Kingsley.
