STOCKBRIDGE — Henry County Police are searching for two people suspected of robbing a Stockbridge store at gunpoint.
Two black males entered Verizon Procom Wireless, located at 1463 Hudson Bridge Road, armed with a handgun and locked the door once they were inside.
The incident took place Tuesday around 11:15 a.m., said Henry County Police Sgt. Joey Smith. He said there were no injuries during the heist.
The suspects robbed the cashier of an undisclosed amount of money and electronic items, the sergeant said.
“A witness told police the getaway car entered I-75 going northbound,” said Smith.
Police described the suspects vehicle as a white four-door car, “possibly” a Crown Victoria.
Anyone with information about the armed robbery is asked to call Henry Police Detective E. Combs at (770) 288-8261 or 911.
