Betty Ann Cason, 85, of Forest Park, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012. Betty was born in Rockmart, Ga., on Aug. 19, 1926, to John and Fannie Lou Dearing. She was predeceased by her husband Elijah C. Cason on April 12, 1992. She was a homemaker, and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her five children, Gary Cason and wife Donna, Johnny Cason, Avery Cason and wife Wanda, Mavis Griffin and partner Tamie Bruce and Darlene Pruitt and husband Steve; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5, at 11 a.m., in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastor Joe Hughes will officiate. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery in Forest Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 3, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, (770) 4741231, is in charge of arrangements.
