A. Stop the outrageous spending in Washington - during this year's appropriations process I offered more cost-saving amendments than any other member of Congress.

Q: What one special experience do you have that you believe is beneficial to the position for which you are a candidate?

A: Forty years of experience as a family physician, my Patient OPTION Act is the best alternative for accessible, affordable, patient-centered, high-quality health care.

Q: What is the first budget item, or program, you would cut to help balance the nation's budget?

A. Repeal and replace ObamaCare.

A: Lead a coalition of common-sense representatives that will return our country to a strong economy, broaden the tax base and create real jobs in the private sector.

Q: What one special experience do you have that you believe is beneficial to the position for which you are a candidate?

A: 20-year military career including six years at the Pentagon in the Defense Intelligence Agency, and as Congressional liaison for the Secretary of the Army where I was responsible for guiding the Defense Authorizing Bill from sub-committee to being signed into law.

Q: What is the first budget item, or program, you would cut to help balance the nation's budget?

A: My first bill will mandate a 10 percent reduction in the salary for all members of Congress to show the American People that leaders set the example.
