Q: What is the one thing you would like to accomplish if elected to office?

A: I would like to replace the confusing tax code we currently use, that's filled with loopholes, with the Fair Tax.

Q: What one special experience do you have that you believe is beneficial to the position for which you are a candidate?

A: As a small business owner, I have first-hand knowledge of the best way the government can help private industry create jobs instead of killing them.

Q: What is the first budget item, or program, you would cut to help balance the nation's budget?

A: I would choose to cut the Department of Education because teachers and parents don't need the federal government telling them how to teach their students.

A: I would like to get the national budget balanced.

Q: What one special experience do you have that you believe is beneficial to the position for which you are a candidate?

A: As a 32-year small business owner, I have survived all the recessions, a fire, a tornado, and we still managed to balance our budget, make payroll and run a completely debt-free operation.

Q: What is the first budget item, or program, you would cut to help balance the nation's budget?

A: I would cut all of them. Some expenditures may go away completely and others not very much. There cannot be any sacred cows.
