Mary Lea Roller-Stoddard, born on May 4, 1937, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Dec. 21, 2011, after a courageous battle with uterine cancer. Mary was born and raised in Le Claire, Iowa. She was the only child of the late Ira Ross and Blanche Roller. She graduated from Le Claire High School in 1955. That same year, she married the late James P. Stoddard and relocated to Atlanta, Ga., where she resided for forty years.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Stoddard, Stephanie Bruno (and her husband Todd Bruno) and Rhonda Todd (and her husband John Todd); three treasured grandchildren, Jennie Bruno, Madeline Todd and Christopher Todd.
Mary touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her kindness, laughter, generosity and an absolute love of life. She enjoyed furthering her education with learning home decorating, cake decorating, sewing, pottery and gardening. She enjoyed volunteering her time, especially at the Buffalo Bill Museum.
