McDONOUGH — Organizers of the People First of Henry County annual Spaghetti Dinner describes the event as a night of food, fun, relaxation, and karaoke.
The spaghetti dinner is scheduled for Sunday from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., at the Henry County Moose Family Center, located at 91 Hunters Chase, in McDonough.
The dinner will benefit the special needs community.
“All money raised that night will go toward the Fourth Annual Walk-A -Thon on Saturday, July 28,” said Connie Dodgen, one of the organizers of the fund-raiser. “They can e-mail me if they want to order takeout trays and we will have them ready,” she said.
Karaoke will begin during dinner at 6 p.m., and continue until 9 p.m.
Tickets are $5 each for the dinner, which includes spaghetti, salad, drink, and homemade desserts. Tickets can be purchase at the door.
“It’s not too late to sign up,” said Dodgen. Forms for the upcoming 4th Annual Walk-a -Thon will be available at the Sunday dinner.
