James Troy Floyd, Sr., 93, of McDonough, passed away on June 12, 2012. Mr. Floyd was a foreman for Williams Brothers Building Supply for 43 years.
Troy is survived by his daughter, Shirley, and her husband Dan Harvill, of McDonough; son, Jimmy, and his wife Sandra Floyd Jr., of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; sisters, Lila, and her husband Roy Geeslin, Opal Smith, Inez, and her husband Felton Hefner, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m., at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, with Pastor Joe Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Friday, June 15, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The Family would like to thank the staff at Westbury Health and Rehab for their kindness and graciousness.
