Tammy Carlisle and Danny Brown shared the top prize of the recent Henry County Chamber of Commerce’s “Great $10,000 Giveaway.”
Once the two businesspeople found themselves as finalists in the fund-raising drawing, they decided to split the proceeds, according Diane Ide, a spokeswoman for the Chamber.
Carlisle, vice president of sales & marketing with Action Limousines of Stockbridge, and Brown, co-owner of SERVPRO of Henry, Spalding and Clayton counties, as well as the City of Decatur, were among hundreds who invested $125 per ticket to participate in the fund-raiser drawing of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce.
The fund-raiser is one of two events held each year to supplement Chamber programming for member businesses, Ide said in a statement.
