McDONOUGH — Aspiring musicians now have a place to hone their craft.
McDonough Music recently opened at 184 John Frank Ward Blvd. Co-owner Nathan Adamson said he and his business partner, Joey Shedd, offer everything from guitars, amps and mixing boards to band instruments, music lessons, guitar repair, equipment repair, consignment and instrument rentals.
“You name it, we’ve got it,” said Adamson. “If we don’t have it, we can get it.”
Adamson said he’s been dabbling in music all his life and has repaired instruments for 10 years.
The business offers lessons in brass and woodwind instruments, pianos, ukuleles, guitars, bass guitars, violins and vocals.
Adamson said lessons are $25 for a 30-minute session once a week.
“On any instrument that we have, we can take somebody from very beginner to very advanced,” he said.
Hours of operation are 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. To set up a lesson or arrange a repair, call 678-432-0982, email mcdonoughmusic@att.net or visit www.mcdonoughmusic.com.
