McDONOUGH — Three men appeared in court for the first time this week on robbery and burglary charges after police said they found stolen goods in the suspects’ car.
Christopher Winston, 22, and Deion Winston, 20, both of Anvil Block Road in Ellenwood and Dexter West, 20, of Shady Pine Terrace in Ellenwood were arrested Jan. 22 in connection with a home burglary on Chambers Road.
Items stolen, as reported by the victim in the case, included a 47-inch television and several pieces of jewelry, were later recovered from a vehicle occupied by the trio, police said. The victim, police added, had documentation to prove she owned the TV and jewelry.
All three were also charged with robbery for a separate incident. Information about those charges was not available Friday.
Christopher Winston is charged with felony burglary, robbery, theft by receiving and acquiring a license plate for the purpose of concealing the identification of a motor vehicle. Deion Winston is charged with felony burglary, robbery and obstructing an officer. Bond for both men was set at $120,000 each, and the cases were bound over to Henry County Superior Court.
Dexter West was charged with felony burglary and robbery and bond was set at $215,000. His case was reset to Feb. 26.
