Stockbridge prepares for annual Bridgefest

STOCKBRIDGE — The City of Stockbridge is accepting applications for art, craft and food vendors for its Third Annual Bridgefest October 4 and 5. 

This year's festival will be a true Bridgefest and is being relocated to historic Downtown Stockbridge, at the bridge near the Ted Strickland Community Center on North Berry Street.

The festival will Include art and unique craft vendors, food and beverage trucks and an interactive children's area.

Mackey Creek Band and Da Famous Boyzz are expected to provide live music and entertainment, including a free community concert from 7 to 9 p.m. October 4.

DDJ Event Productions will also hold the event’s first half marathon benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where nearly 300 people are expected to attend.
