Mitchell Alexander Allison, 17, of McDonough was in court Friday morning charged with possession of a schedule IV drug. Henry County sheriff’s deputies, who work as school resource officers, said Allison became sick Oct. 5 and passed out. Concerned officials searched his backpack and found two prescription sleep aids. Allison reportedly told deputies he’d taken them from his grandfather and ingested one during class.
