STOCKBRIDGE – Just one of the many productions to film in Henry County, “MacGyver,” recently took over Stockbridge City Hall.

The CBS series, starring Lucas Till as MacGyver, a genius who relies on “his unconventional problem-solving skills to save lives,” according to IMDb, recently filmed in Stockbridge City Hall.

“The city of Stockbridge was delighted to be the filming location for CBS’s popular television show ‘MacGyver,’” said Camilla Moore, assistant city manager for the city of Stockbridge, in a release. “We were thrilled to welcome the cast and crew to City Hall, and we are even more excited to see the upcoming episode appear on the big screen very soon. Stockbridge has become a favored filming location in recent years for a number of productions. We enjoy the collaborations.”

According to IMDb, a number of productions have filmed in Stockbridge, most notably the popular Netflix series “Stranger Things,” and the movie “90 Minutes in Heaven” starring Kate Bosworth and Hayden Christensen.
