HAMPTON — If you’ve ever wanted to return to a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth, Atlanta Motor Speedway may have the next best thing.

Beginning Friday and continuing through Aug. 9, AMS will host Jurassic Quest Drive Thru, a driving tour of more than 70 moving, life-like and life-sized dinosaur exhibits. Included in the exhibits will be a 50-foot-long Megalodon, an 80-foot-long Spinosaurus, the T. Rex, the Triceratops and many smaller dinosaurs that walked the earth or swam in the oceans.

Precautionary measures will be taken to provide a safe experience for visitors. All guests will be required to remain in their vehicles; if they exit their vehicles to visit restrooms or the Dino Store, they will be required to wear masks. Social distancing will be requested of all guests and maintained by Jurassic Quest crew members. Equipment, dinosaurs, and workstations will be sanitized frequently and thoroughly throughout the event.

Tickets are $49 per car, with up to nine guests allowed per vehicle. No guests will be allowed in truck beds. Pets will be allowed inside vehicles. Tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.jurassicquest.com.

Jurassic Quest Drive Thru will run July 31 through Aug. 9, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on opening day and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
