The Bible tells the story of a ruler of the Jews by the name of Nicodemus who came to Jesus by night, evidently so as not to be seen by his peers, and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that you have come from God as a teacher, for no one could perform these signs you do unless God were with Him.”

Nicodemus had seen many of the miracles Jesus had performed — He made the blind to see, the lame to walk and the dead to return to life — now he had come to Jesus to discuss with Him face to face just who He was. I believe Nicodemus had thought long and hard about Jesus and had already put his belief in Him, but there were so many things he did not understand.
