Henry County Superior Court Judge Holly Veal

The Council of Accountability Court Judges has named Judge Holly Veal’s Henry County Adult Felony Drug Court Program a Model Court.

Since its inception in 2011, 150 nonviolent repeat drug offenders have enrolled in the program and 67 have graduated from it.

Participants, if selected, must agree to at least 20 months of random drug testing, counseling sessions and strict community supervision. Those who successfully complete the program are recognized in a special graduation ceremony for family and friends.

“We are honored to be recognized statewide for the great work that is being done by this drug court team in Henry County,” Veal said. “There are a lot of people who work very hard to make this program a success.”
