Last-minute openings at HCSO Summer Camp

Don't miss out on next week's Henry County Sheriff's Office  Summer Camp, June 10-14! A few openings remain for campers ages 12-14. Participants will go fishing, learn CPR and visit Skyzone and Atlanta Motor Speedway.

McDONOUGH — It's not too late to sign up for the Henry County Sheriff's Office Summer Camp.

Camp will take place the week of June 10-13 for ages 12 through 14. Campers will get to go fishing, take trips to Skyzone and Atlanta Motor Speedway, learn fire safety, earn CPR certification, and do other fun activities.

"Our camp will focus on teaching our children to make the right decisions now and for their future," HCSO notes.

Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided and campers should not bring food unless a special diet is required. Each camper will receive a special T-shirt that is to be worn daily.

The cost is $50 and registration is first-come, first-served.

To print out an application, parents can visit, then bring it in person to the Henry County Sheriff's Department, 120 Henry Pkwy., McDonough.
