McDonough PD: Warrants out for Legacy Ford auto theft suspect

The McDonough Police Department has identified the suspect in a car theft from Legacy Ford and says it will execute arrest warrants shortly. Police say the victim's car has been returned.

McDONOUGH—A man who was caught on an auto dealership's security video as he allegedly stole keys to a car its owner had dropped off for service, then drove it away, has warrants for his arrest pending.

McDonough Police say they have identified the bald man with a gray goatee who was dropped off at Legacy Ford of McDonough on May 25 by someone in a white Cherokee SUV.

The suspect allegedly stole a white 2014 Hyundai Genesis that the owner had dropped off for service. Detective T. Spangenberg told the News the car has been returned to its owner but would not release the suspect's name as of press time.
