In spite of her grand name, Godiva is one of those unfortunate black lab mixes who often get overlooked when guests come to the Henry County Animal Shelter. Once out of her kennel, however, she opens up and becomes very animated and entertaining. She is fully grown and responds to a few commands, such as sit. She would undoubtedly love the chance to learn more in a new home. To see Godiva, ask for 916/3588 (G74) at the Henry County Animal Shelter, at 527 Ga. Highway 20/81, McDonough. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m., to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m., to 12 p.m. Call (770) 288-7387 (PETS).
