McDONOUGH — Athletes and coaches are closer to enjoying newly renovated fields, after Henry County officials celebrated with a ground-breaking ceremony at Cochran Park. County commissioners, city of Stockbridge officials, community leaders, county staff and residents gathered for the ceremony Wednesday morning.
The renovations are a long-anticipated project. The park consists of six fields, all of which will be renovated.
