Students at the McDonough location of Big Blue Marble Academy are learning that reading can take them into new worlds like Whoville, Narnia and Hogwarts. Students took part in Read Across America Week, Feb. 28 - March 4, with activities like dress up days, including Crazy socks/clothes/hat day; Dress like your favorite book character day; Wild about reading day; Read my shirt day; and Reading gives you superpowers day.
