- 3/4 c butter, softened
- 1 c sugar

- 3 pasteurized eggs, room temperature

- 1 c heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp powdered sugar

Cubano Espresso Dark Chocolate Cake
UpdatedThis chocolate cake is made to impress! The cake itself is tender and rich. Dark chocolate and espresso are perfectly paired in this cake. The coffee flavor is subtle. Alone, the cake is great but paired with the rich frosting you have a bakery-quality cake. The frosting is creamy and has a slight caramel flavor from the dulce de leche. It really adds richness to the frosting. This is actually an easy cake to make, but it does take some time. It would be perfect for a special occasion.

- 3 c sugar
- 3 c all-purpose flour
- 1 1/8 c dark cocoa
- 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt

Peanut Butter Meltaway Cake

The bottom layer is similar to an eclair and provides a base for the pie. As if that wasn't enough, the dessert is drizzled with chocolate. Impressive and delicious!

Holy decadence! This bread pudding is going to put you into a chocolate coma... and worth every bite. It's a rich and decadent bread pudding filled with chocolate and pecans. The bread pudding has a firm but creamy texture and the pecans add a nice crunch. Alone, it's delicious. But add the simple chocolate sauce and this is out of this world good. You don't have to dip the strawberries in chocolate, but it's a nice touch for presentation. This bread pudding recipe is easy enough to make any time you want an indulgent dessert, but special enough for a holiday or special occasion.
Ingredients
- DARK CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 c sugar
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 4 c half and half or heavy whipping cream
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 1 c slightly sweet or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- CHOCOLATE SAUCE
- 1 pkg slightly sweet or semi-sweet chocolate chips, 12 oz.
