LOCUST GROVE—This video brings new meaning to the phrase "home run." Taya and Liberty Bunger, both 6, play for the Lady Rascals 6U softball team. They got a big surprise when their dad, Jake, came home from Afghanistan and met them at home plate. Bunger is a civilian contractor for Insitu and both he and wife Anna are Army veterans. The girls, who are the couple's adopted foster children, just finished kindergarten at Unity Grove Elementary. "We are very blessed to have them," their mom told the Herald. Special shoutouts to Lady Rascals Coach Matt Still and the Ola Crushers for rescheduling the final game of the season so Daddy could be there to see Taya and Liberty play.
