COVINGTON — U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff on May 23 announced a federal investment in Georgia semiconductor manufacturing in Covington.
Ossoff said that Absolics, a subsidiary of SKC, will receive up to $75 million in federal funding through the bipartisan CHIPS Act to strengthen domestic semiconductor production in Georgia, supporting the construction of a 120,000-square-foot facility in Covington and the creation of an estimated 1,200 manufacturing and construction jobs.
