STOCKBRIDGE — Right now, just four votes separate Elton Alexander and Neat Robinson for the third and last spot on the Stockbridge City Council up for grabs.

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, Yolanda Barber led with 817 votes, John Blount had 815 votes, Elton Alexander had 694 votes and Neat Robinson had 690 votes. Blount, Alexander and Robinson are incumbents.

Nathan Banks was in fifth with 493 votes, Arthur Christian had 448 votes, Cherice Hollis had 460, Kenneth McFarland had 366 votes and Jacqueline Blalock had 215 votes.

The city appeared to approve the “brunch bill” language with 1,274 votes as of 9:30 p.m., or 66.39 percent of the total.
