Andrew Young — former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Atlanta mayor, and member of the U.S. House of Representatives — was a featured participant in the “Grits and Grace: A Civic, Education, Faith-Based, and Law Enforcement Conversation” event held Monday at Grace Baptist Church in Stockbridge. Moderated by Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett and Sherry Gaither, the event featured several other panelists including Pastor Jamal Bryant, Pastor Marlin Harris, Atlanta Chief of Police Darin Schierbaum, Pastor Carl Nichols, U.S. Marshal Thomas Brown, Alisha Thomas Searcy, and Ralph Simpson.
