An early morning fire on Tuesday, displaced a family of five at Willow Way Apartments, at 5890 Riverdale Road in Riverdale, according to Battalion Chief Landry Merkison, of Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services.

"Eight units were damaged, and seven of the units were vacant," said Merkison. He said no one was injured in the fire.
