Organizers of an annual holiday fund-raiser are hoping to raise much-needed funds to help abused, neglected and abandoned children in Henry County.
The 2009 Christmas Gala to benefit A Friend's House is scheduled for Saturday. It will be held at Hazlehurst House, located at 77 Sloan St., in McDonough. The event begins at 7 p.m.
