Moose Teens Car Wash & Yard Sale will be held in the parking lot of the Henry County Moose Lodge 2170, located at 91 Hunters Chase, in McDonough. The Car Wash & Yard Sale is scheduled for June 11, from 8 a.m,. until 4 p.m. Patrons are asked to donate items Moose Teens can sell in the yard sale. Items can be dropped off at the lodge from June 8, through June 10. Donors are asked to put "teen yard sale" on the items offered. The cost of a car wash is a donation only. There will be hot, boiled peanuts and hot dogs for sale. All proceeds will go to the Moose Teen Club for future functions and events.
The City of Hampton is sponsoring a Farmers Market every Friday until Sept. 30, from 2 p.m., until 6 p. m. The open market will be held at 2 West Main St. Fruits, vegetables, arts and crafts, will be available.
