Edna McGarity Barham, 91, died April 23, 2004. Born June 24, 1912, in McDonough, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Homer S. and Nora Sherwood McGarity and was a member of the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Barham, and granddaughter, Donna Joyce Busbin, and is survived by her children, Betty Barham Brown, Charlotte, N.C., Richard E. (Shirley) Barham, Helen (Donald) Barham Busbin, Gary W. (Becky) Barham, all of McDonough; sisters Margie McGarity Hooper, Griffen, Lucille McGarity Fisher, Colo.; brother, Grover A. (Marian) McGarity, Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
