McDONOUGH— City officials voted Thursday to move forward with an annexation study to determine properties that would be feasible within the city limits of McDonough.

Community Development Director Rodney Heard presented several conceptual maps that showed potential annexations, saying that the purpose of such annexations would be to eliminate land islands to create a uniformed boundary, which would help in delivering city services.
