STOCKBRIDGE — During the recent State of the County event, Henry County Manager Cheri Hobson-Matthews was surprised with a resolution from the Georgia House of Representatives.

At April 10 event at Grace Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia District 116 Rep. El Mahdi-Holly, D-Stockbridge, gathered leaders around the podium at the conclusion of the annual program and presented a framed resolution honoring Matthews for her public service as county manager.
