McDONOUGH— A hearing to challenge Henry County commissioner Brian Preston’s residency has been scheduled for next week.

The five-member elections board will determine whether Preston meets residency requirements, according to Henry County Elections & Registration Director Tina Lunsford. The hearing comes as the result of former county commission chairman candidate Larry Morey, who identified himself as the Ethics in Government Committee chairman, filing the challenge June 20.
