STOCKBRIDGE — Henry County students and artists responded to a call for art to decorate the halls of Piedmont Henry Hospital.

President of the Henry Arts Alliance Lynna Schmidt said she knew hospital staff was feeling overwhelmed by the most recent surge of COVID-19 patients. She put out a call to the members of the arts alliance and Henry County students to create uplifting art for the hospital.

Schmidt recently shared the pieces with Piedmont Henry CEO Lily Henson, M.D. The posters will be placed throughout the hospital to “lift the spirits of staff members, patients and visitors,” Schmidt said.
