MCDONOUGH — The Henry County Board of Education is soliciting public feedback about its proposed 2020 meeting schedule.
The board intends to continue hosting meetings every Tuesday of the month with the study session beginning at 4 p.m., executive session at 6 p.m. followed by the regular business meeting at 7 p.m.
The only exception will be in April. The meetings will be held on the third Monday due to spring break.
Board member Pam Nutt expressed her support about the schedule.
“I appreciate the time,” she said. “It’s nice to get it all done at one time.”
Carl Knowlton, Henry County Schools chief of staff, noted the calendar will be available for public review the next 30 days.
The board is expected to vote on it during the Oct. 14 meeting. The meeting will be held at the Administrative Offices, 33 Zack Hinton Pkwy. in McDonough.
