McDONOUGH — A Henry County grand jury has indicted John Patrick Schilling, 69, on 58 counts of unauthorized distributions and dispensations of hydrocodone in 2018.

Schilling, a Stockbridge obstetrician and gynecologist who also ran a cosmetic surgery practice, surrendered his medical license Feb. 12. Although Schilling is forbidden to practice medicine in Georgia until and unless his license is restored, his practices continue to advertise Schilling’s name, medical qualifications and, on the cosmetic surgery site, his likeness as of press time.

The Georgia Secretary of State’s corporations website lists John P. Schilling as the registered agent for two corporations: Schilling Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetics LLC and Tobler-Klaas LLC.

In a case unrelated to Thursday’s indictments, in April 2018, a patient filed a report with Henry County Police, alleging that Schilling had twice sexually assaulted her during a cosmetic procedure while she was sedated and unable to speak. The patient’s name is redacted from the incident report.

Schilling’s attorney has said her client denies all charges. He remains free on bond as of press time.
