Henry County Police Department is currently investigating two bomb threats emailed to Inverness Child Development Center in McDonough last week. Police helped to evacuate children and sweep for possible explosives on Sept. 23 and 26, finding no suspicious items at the day care on either search.
McDONOUGH—A McDonough child care facility was forced to evacuate all children and staff twice last week following two separate bomb threats.
The Henry County Police Department is currently investigating the threats, sent in two emails to the Inverness Child Development Center, the first on Sept. 23 and the second three days later on Sept. 26 from the same email address. The address contained a name familiar to the Inverness staff, Officer K.J. Thomas stated in the incident report.
