Henry County Police offer Facebook Live online lesson for K-12 students at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2

Henry County Police will offer a free class for 5th graders and up on Facebook Live at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2. HCPD says the event should be recorded online for anyone who missed it.

McDONOUGH—If your kids are stuck at home with the COVID-19 blues, the Henry County Police Department is offering a special Facebook Live lesson for them at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2.

"Since we can’t show up to everyone’s school right now," HCPD's Facebook page says,"we’re having the first ever 'HCPD Career Day Live' ! If you have kids up to the 5th grade, be sure to tune in here on Facebook Live. K9 Danger and our officers are really looking forward to hanging out, answering questions, showing you what it’s like to be a police officer, and giving away some prizes!"

Adults and kids older than fifth grade are welcome to watch. There will be a question and answer session, HCPD notes: "Just know that the Q&A portion is really for the younger kids."
