HAMPTON — Henry County Parks & Recreation offers a number of parks for residents to enjoy green space, including Nash Farm Battlefield Park.

The 204-acre park was the site of the largest cavalry raid in the state’s history. It’s one of the few Civil War battlefields that remains intact, according to the Parks & Recreation website.

Visitors can explore the carriage house, gazebo, activity and livestock barn, walking trails and playground.

Nash Farm is located at 4361 Jonesboro Road in Hampton. For more information about Nash Farm or other parks in Henry County, visit www.co.henry.ga.us.
