Henry County school officials are asking parents to answer survey questions about their Open House experience.

MCDONOUGH — Henry County school officials are seeking input from the community about their experiences during the district’s Open House events.

On July 30, just before the start of the school year on Aug. 1, parents and students were invited to get acquainted with their teachers, classrooms and new schools.

School district officials want to know how their visits went.

“We always try to gain feedback about different events and this is one we’d like to hear about so we can make any needed adjustments for next school year,” said JD Hardin, spokesman for Henry County Schools.

A 10-question survey asks parents about how their visits, whether they met their children’s teacher and if they left the Open House feeling prepared for the first day of school.

“The survey is designed to give us insight on their experiences,” Hardin said. “We want to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience.”

The survey will remain on the district’s website www.henry.k12.ga.us until Aug. 15.
