Henry County Board of Commissioners

MCDONOUGH — The Henry County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved an ordinance increasing the hotel/motel excise tax at its April 23 meeting.

The excise tax on “hotel, motel, inn, lodge, tourist camp, tourist cabin, campground, or any other place in which rooms or lodgings are regularly furnished for value” increases from 5 to 8%.
