McDONOUGH — The Henry County school district is hosting a Dual Enrollment Informational Night for students in grades 8-11.

Georgia’s Dual Enrollment Program allows students to take college-level and technical college-level courses and earn credit toward their high school diploma and college degree while still in high school. The program is available to all 9-12 grade students who have been accepted to a post-secondary institution.

Two sessions will be held on Jan. 21 from 5-6 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Henry County Performing Arts Center, 37 Lemon St. in McDonough.

For more information about the program or upcoming meetings, contact the district’s Henry County Schools Family and Student Services Division at 770-957-6601 or visit and click on dual enrollment.
