McDONOUGH — Kaylani Santiago has had many firsts at the Shaquille O’Neal Boys & Girls Club of Henry County — from learning new sports like tennis to taking on challenging responsibilities as a member of the McDonough club’s gymnastics and cheer squad.

A surprise event on Monday brought about a new first for the 10-year-old. Santiago was one of hundreds from the local 166 Holly Smith Drive site to receive a free pair of clog shoes famously known as Crocs.
