Andrew Williams, the assistant director with Public Works, shares updates for the McDonough Beautiful initiative during the McDonough Council meeting on Monday, Sept. 18.

McDONOUGH — City officials want to keep McDonough beautiful.

A recent effort established by staff in the Public Works and Community Development departments should help the McDonough City Council do just that. The initiative known as McDonough Beautiful provides advantages for a variety of beautification projects throughout the four districts of the city, while addressing staffing concerns in each department.
