McDONOUGH — The McDonough City Council has begun discussions to set its millage rate for fiscal year 2024.

During its public hearing on Monday, July 17 — and again during its regularly scheduled City Council meeting — council members discussed maintaining a millage rate of 3.033 for the new fiscal year, which will result in a tax increase due to increased property values.
